Halfway Point

Well, it’s official. I have been here in Germany for 5 months now, leaving just 5 months to go. That also means that I have 5 months of high school done and then that’s over as well. The holidays were pretty fantastic. I attended my first (and second) Catholic Mass with my host family during Christmas. On New Years, we had a party and set off fireworks while drinking Champagne in the street at midnight. Now I’m just biding my time until break is over. Starting in March, things get crazy and don’t slow down much until May before picking up again. I just got news that I’m in the running for some big scholarships so interviews and what not will also be taking place for them. Today, I confirmed my enrollment at the University of Wyoming and picked out my Major/Minor. Truthfully, my major, social work, has been decided for nearly a year now but I have finally locked down my minor in Health Sciences. Can’t wait to see what this year brings!
